Demonitisation Pain

Where I am from

Of course I live in India. I am a good amount of tax payer, that means paying the reasonable amount than the average person. In India if you pay some tax you will be seen as exceptional(you are a virtue!), because No well tax tracking system is around. So, People try to cheat as much as they can. Even including the big industry players, celebrities, tycoons, I am afraid that at least they pay 50% of the tax amount of what they should pay(NO WAY). I am not boasting here. I have to comply the rules atleast to draw the few benefits like drawling loan etc…

Demonetisation

Recently, the demonetisation plan was introduced to eradicate the unaccountable(eventually BLACK) money. Initially, It was kind of weird plan for me, but it was surprisingly interesting move I thought. In fact, I was aware of the pain that I could face in upcoming days. I was ready to take it.

Am I wrong?

Initially, I thought most of the tycoons are keeping the money in their almirah. So, they can’t convert into legal ones completely as per this new plan. Everybody was deceived into this scenario. The people who are keeping unaccountable money in locker are caught now. But, this doesn’t happen. I am seeing Seriously, the people I know in my circle who are truly having the unaccountable money did not get affect into even 10%, they were moving further easily with their liquidity/assets, quite surprised to see them. Because, the money was being rotated and it lays in form of some assets. Some corruptionist helping for them to the conversion. Yeah, they are clever. If this is the case with majority of illegits, then what is for this plan?

Simply, assume if all the rats and cats are put into big gudoan(room), you wanna catch the rats only, so you lock one exit of the big room and leaving the other exits open for sometime, eventually, would you think the rats will be hanging there around?

I belive We are not that stupid to think 🙂

But possibly few unlucky cats might get caught.

Is this not happening now?

Deceiving the people’s mind:

People’s mind are completely deceived for one direction. When i was standing in queue for ATM access for around an hour to withdraw Rs 2000, I felt lot uncomfortable. Even i am living in metro city, the ATMs are available atleast each a kilo meter. People are good with wire transaction here. Still, you get your pain.

If i think about my native place, it is very hard to find one working ATM around 5kms. Probably, two villages have one ATM. I could not imagine how people are coping there, infact the illiterates are more there. Still, that is not the rural area. In India there are many rural areas worser than that in terms of sophistication. I felt the complete execution fault there. The people who are working for daily wages are more, they don’t even know to use ATM, can’t withdraw money in bank. Bank employees obviously, they don’t treat them nice, How they will get money from somebody if the situation is like this? How the effective transaction happens there daily?

Unimaginable.

But still, somehow I am believed this plan might create some good impact, eventually, I come to know thatIi am also deceived.

Annoying facebook shares

There are lot of facebook shares about comparing the lined up army soldiers and the people standing in the queue in ATM. This is completely ridiculous. Are the people who stands in queue motivated by comparing them with the soldiers unparalleled efforts? Are you trying to convince the people who died due to shortage of money(effect of demonetisation) is the sacrifice for the country’s progress, just by comparing them with Indian soldiers? This comparison is absurd.

Infact, i think Hitler also might have thought the same way during his rein for the good cause of Germans.

How shame we are!

Mr Kuppusamy’s view

I am giving one more scenario,

There was a hard worker named Mr Kuppusamy was drawing the money of 35K per month when GOV-A ruled, that time the onion price, tomato prices are got spike. He was fed-up, hardly he could save around 5K per month apart from his expenses. He felt completely negative about the ruling goverment prosperity. He lost hope finally. So, the effect was Govt-B starts rein the system after the election.

Now, the same Mr Kuppusamy is earning 45K, now petrol, diesel expenses are raised. But, the system(Govt-B) is convincing the Mr Kuppusamy indirectly, there are still lakhs of people, who are under poverty line. But, still Mr Kuppusamy makes 45K, which is more than the need of the common.

Finally, Mr Kuppusamy felt bit relaxed by comparing himself with other line of people(Is Govt not deceiving Mr Kuppusamy?), He started believing that the prosperity happening in his life.

BUT, Actually Mr Kuppusamy still struggles to save same 4K per month now.

My questions for you from the above scenario?

  • Was the real prosperity happened?
  • Was the Mr Kuppusamy deceived that he is growing in his prosperity?
  • Has there really any difference been created in people by Govt A or Govt B?

Take-aways:

The intention of this post was hoping to create a better system around us. The day-to-day struggles of our fellow Indians should yield the right fruit. It should not go vain. We should spend our time and work for the real prosperity. We should not fall on the wrong-track. So, The question keeps arising in my mind

“The sudden pain to the people are going to yield good amount of results in what way? and How?”

(I am not against any system at anytime, but some times I am against some policies)

INTERVIEW BEHAVIOUR

To make a good impression, it is important to know what the interviewer is look for and what they are testing you on, according to a report by Sanjeev Sinha of EconomicTimes.com.

According to Arindam Lahiri, Director- Academics, Career Launcher India, there are five things that should be avoided while attending an interview. Rude replies, bluffing, being defensive, unprepared responses and lack of interview strategy can end up portraying a person?s personality in an unappealing manner.

Rude replies

Short, curt, arrogant or confrontational comments and replies are of course a strict no-no. You might want to pay attention to peer review about whether you come across as a genuinely friendly, amicable person or otherwise. Besides the obvious fact that the interviewer is all powerful when it comes to deciding your fate regarding the job, also keep in mind that they are not sitting there with the sole purpose of antagonizing you.

“The objective of putting you in a spot is usually to observe your behavior under pressure. Getting agitated easily would betray a lack of coping skills. On the other hand, dealing with such ‘tests’ with grace not only saves you trouble but also immediately scores you points,” said Lahiri.

Bluffing

If you hesitate to admit something that you don’t know, you will be forced to continue bluffing until you either get caught, or are forced to do what you were supposed to do in the first place – say “I don’t know.”

This statement can help you move away from topics you don’t know much about and possibly salvage the interview by starting a new conversation thread. Of course, using this statement too often would lead to the interviewer assuming you don’t know much.

Getting defensive

If you happened to make a mistake and were rightly corrected, then make sure that you gracefully admit your error and allow for the discussion to be carried on in a polite tone. Leave the ‘offense is the best defence’ theory outside the door along with excess ego that could seriously hamper your chances of success.

It is also necessary to clarify the interviewer as they can also be wrong about something. Maybe the mistake on their part is actually deliberate conducted, to test your knowledge or relevant social skills.

“In such a scenario, wherein you are absolutely sure of your view, stick to your guns, but (again) gracefully. Be polite but firm while presenting your case, and after a while, you might want to agree to disagree and free up the conversation to on to the next topic,” informs Lahiri.

Unprepared responses

There are certain questions that are taken as granted to appear in any interview – questions related to your goals, about yourself, your reason for applying to the particular job, your interest in that company and so on.

To earn a favourable impression, the answer to these should be thoroughly prepared, clear and precise, leaving no ambiguity in the interviewer’s mind.

“This does not mean you have to have a rigid 10-year plan for life or be aware of exactly what you are going to do when. Rather, your thinking process and general direction should be organized and clearly presented to the interviewers. Doing your homework early on can guarantee you a certain number of points even before you walk in the interview room,” said Lahiri.

Lack of interview strategy

In a selection process, the interviewer is required to analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the candidate. For this, he/she has to steer the conversation and investigate various aspects of the candidate’s personality.
